Lucky is a very sweet dog who loves attention. He is fully grown and weighs approx. 20 lbs. He was not socialized and had been kept on a chain his whole life, so he doesn't like to share his toys. He is much better than he was when he first came into foster care. He is a real character. He has a lot of energy, but also likes to spend a lot of time resting in his crate or next to his foster mom on his blanket. Likes to sit on laps and loves toys. He is afraid of a lot of things (like nail trimming) and new situations. He is learning to trust people. Sometimes, he likes to be petted and sometimes he doesn't. Because of this, we believe Lucky would do best in a home without children. Prefers to stay inside most of the time. He likes to walk on a leash and ride in the car. He does not like other dogs, but will tolerate them if they leave him alone. He does great with cats. He is very cute and smart. Call Dana at (540) 943-4668 if interested in adopting Lucky.
