About Jinx

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Rescue ID: Jinx
  • General Color: Orange
  • Housetrained: Yes
Hi, my name is Jinx. I guess I got the name because of the problem I had when I was taken to Spay/Neuter, Inc.

I couldn't play or run, and just walking a few feet made it very hard for me to breathe, and I could hardly eat anything. I had a diagphramatic hernia that the vet said I probably got from being run over. The only option for me that was a good one was surgery & she wasn't even sure she could fix me.

Things were touch & go even after surgery. I was in the hospital for a week and even after I got out , it was a couple of days before I really started to eat good. I can now do all the things a kitty my age should be doing--playing, running, and being very sweet.

Unfortunately, I had a very large vet bill and the people @ Spay/Neuter, Inc. need help to pay it. If you can help, please send a donation.

I can't be adopted quite yet, but I will be looking for my forever home soon. Keep me in mind if you want a real sweetie. That's what they call me!!!

Tested negative for Feline Leukemia & Feline Aids.

Spayed/neutered, vaccinated against 5 different cat diseases including Leukemia, received booster vaccinations, vaccinated against Rabies.

Checked for and treated (if needed) for ear mites, fleas, and worms.

If you're interested in adopting me, please email spayneuterinc@yahoo.com .  Some of us can be seen at the Waynesboro PetSmart Luv-a-Pet Center.

Spay/Neuter, Inc. is a small 501C3 nonprofit animal rescue organization.  They are an all-volunteer organization and are not in rescue to make money.  My adoption fee helps with the next animal rescued that may have medical problems that need to be addressed.

Please consider sponsoring me until I'm adopted, or send a one time donation to help. No donation is too small and every donation is appreciated.  Thank you.
